Which of these actually reach you?

We cover 38 accessibility laws. Most of them have nothing to do with you. Two questions narrow it to the ones worth ten minutes.

Where are your customers?

Choose every place you sell to or operate in.

What kind of organization are you?

Pick at least one place and one kind of organization, and the list of laws worth reading appears here.

What this is, and what it is not

It is a filter over the 38 pages in our laws section, built from two facts about each one: which sectors it binds, and whether it reaches a business established somewhere else.

It is not legal advice and it does not know your size, your sector or your turnover, all of which decide scope under several of these laws. Where a country appears for both sectors that is often two separate regimes rather than one broad law, and the page for that country says which is which.

The useful move after this is to read the two or three that came back, then look at where to start, which is the same question asked about work rather than about law.

The one that surprises people

The European Accessibility Act follows the customer rather than the company. Selling covered products or services to consumers in the EU brings it with you, whether you are in Manchester, Toronto or Austin. It is the reason a business with no European office can still be in scope.
